Payment Methods

Mozhe supports multiple payment methods to accommodate different customer preferences and regional requirements. This guide explains the available payment options and helps you choose the right configuration for your store.

Available Payment Methods

Card Payments

Card payments support Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Dinacard. Key features include:

  • 3D Secure authentication for enhanced security
  • Support for Apple Pay and Google Pay
  • Card tokenization for returning customers
  • Real-time transaction processing

Best for stores that want to offer secure online card payments. Funds are typically settled within 1-2 business days.

See Card Payment Setup for configuration details.

Installment Payments (KOPA)

KOPA enables customers to pay in installments using their bank cards. This option is particularly popular in the Serbian market and can significantly increase average order values.

  • Customers can split payments across multiple months
  • Supported by major Serbian banks
  • 3D Secure authentication required
  • Automatic payment processing

Best for higher-value products where customers benefit from spreading the cost.

See KOPA Installments for configuration details.

Cash on Delivery (COD)

Cash on Delivery allows customers to pay when they receive their order. The courier collects payment and deposits it into your bank account.

  • No upfront payment required from customers
  • Higher conversion rates for first-time buyers
  • Courier handles payment collection
  • Optional COD fee to cover handling costs

Best for markets where customers prefer paying upon receipt or for building trust with new customers.

See Cash on Delivery for configuration details.

Bank Transfer (Invoice)

Customers receive an invoice and pay via bank transfer before the order is processed. This method is typically used for B2B transactions.

  • Order status remains pending until payment is confirmed
  • Suitable for larger orders or business customers
  • Manual payment verification required

Choosing Payment Methods

Consider these factors when selecting payment methods for your store:

Regional Considerations

For Serbian market stores:

  • Dinacard requires MOTO (non-3DS) processing
  • Visa and Mastercard must use 3D Secure
  • COD is widely expected by local customers
  • KOPA installments are popular for electronics and appliances

Configuring Payment Methods

Payment methods are configured at the site level. To enable or disable payment methods:

  1. Navigate to your site in the dashboard
  2. Go to Site > Shop
  3. Enable the payment methods you want to offer
  4. Configure each method according to its specific requirements

Payment Costs

Each payment method can have an associated cost that is added to the order total:

  • Card payments: Typically no additional cost to customer (fees absorbed by merchant)
  • COD: Usually 150-250 RSD to cover courier handling fees
  • Invoice: No additional cost

Configure payment costs in your site settings under Site > Shop.

Payment Flow

When a customer places an order, the payment flow depends on the selected method:

Card Payment Flow

  1. Customer enters card details on secure payment page
  2. 3D Secure authentication (if required by card type)
  3. Payment is authorized and captured
  4. Order moves to "Confirmed" status
  5. Funds settle to merchant account

COD Payment Flow

  1. Customer selects Cash on Delivery at checkout
  2. Order is created with "Created" status
  3. Order is prepared and shipped
  4. Courier collects payment on delivery
  5. Courier deposits funds to configured bank account

KOPA Payment Flow

  1. Customer selects installment option at checkout
  2. Customer authenticates with their bank
  3. First installment is charged
  4. Order moves to "Confirmed" status
  5. Remaining installments charged monthly
